iWhich document controls
Published documents describe the studio's standard position. They do not replace an agreement signed for a specific project. Where two sources disagree, this is the order:
- The signed project agreement, or the composer's countersigned deal memo for your picture.
- A written quote or scope confirmation sent by email and accepted by you. The figures in it are fixed for that project even if the published rates move later.
- These published documents.
- Anything else on this site, including marketing copy and rate summaries.
For purchases from the catalogue, the marketplace that hosts the listing handles payment and its own terms apply to that transaction. See purchases, delivery and returns.

iiiStatus of this text
These documents were drafted for Zazie Productions and describe its standard terms. They are not legal advice to you, and reading them does not create a lawyer client relationship. If your production needs a composer agreement reviewed by your own counsel, send it and the studio will work from your paper.
Every page carries the date it took effect. A change is posted here before it applies to new work; a project already quoted keeps the terms it was quoted under.
Something missing, or a clause that does not fit your production? Say so before you sign anything. These terms are a starting position, and the studio would rather fix a clause than argue about it later.
