1Where payment happens
This site takes no payment and holds no card data, because it never sees any. There is no cart, no account and no checkout here. Each card in the catalogue links to the listing that hosts the item:
- Bandcamp for records and singles.
- itch.io for sound effect libraries.
- Gumroad for immersive soundscapes, glitch packs, the plug-in archive and the manuscript facsimiles.
- eBay for the physical objects.
That marketplace collects the money, calculates and remits any sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt, delivers the download, and applies its own terms of sale to the transaction. Those terms govern the purchase alongside this page, and where they conflict, the marketplace's terms control the transaction.
The practical consequence is worth knowing before you buy: a refund, a receipt copy or a payment dispute is processed by the marketplace first. The studio can help, and often can fix a delivery problem directly, but it cannot see or reverse a transaction on somebody else's platform.
2Who the seller is
Zazie Productions LLC is the seller of every item in the catalogue. The marketplaces are the payment processors and, for physical items, may also handle shipping labels and returns under their own programmes.
Anything about the goods themselves, what is in a pack, what format the files are in, whether an item is in stock, is a question for the studio at zaziediya@gmail.com. Anything about a charge on your card is a question for the marketplace that took it.
3Digital delivery
Digital items are delivered by the marketplace immediately after checkout, by download link on the order page and by email to the address you gave them. Records purchased on Bandcamp can also be streamed and re downloaded from your Bandcamp collection at any time, which is the reliable route if you lose a local copy.
Audio is delivered as lossless downloads where the listing says so, with MP3 available on Bandcamp. Sound libraries arrive as archive files with the contents listed on the listing.
If a download link fails, a file is missing, or an archive will not unpack, email the studio with the order reference from the marketplace. Replacements are sent directly and quickly. A delivery failure is never a reason to buy the item twice.
4Physical items
Physical objects are listed on eBay with their own shipping cost shown per listing, and stock counts are shown as they stand at the time the catalogue was captured. Dispatch, tracking, combined shipping on multiple items and any import duty are handled through the eBay listing and its shipping terms.
These items are working curiosities and collectables: noise modules, motion sensor props, a sound card, a light bulb, a plate with a music box in it. Each listing states its condition, its colour or variant options and what it does. They are not film production equipment and they come with no warranty beyond the listing description and eBay's own guarantees.
Import duties, customs clearance fees and local taxes on an international order are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the listed shipping figure.
5Prices and availability
The prices, stock counts and platform details in the catalogue are a snapshot taken on . Prices move, listings end, and a marketplace may change its own fees or currency display.
The listing on the marketplace is always the current price and the current stock. Where the two disagree, the listing is right and this site is out of date, and the studio would rather you told it than assumed the lower figure.
All figures on this site are in United States dollars. A marketplace may charge in your own currency at its own conversion rate.
6Returns and refunds
Digital goods
Digital downloads are final sale. A file that has been delivered cannot be returned, which is why the studio would rather replace a defective one than argue about it. If the files are wrong, corrupt, incomplete or never arrived, you get a replacement or a refund through the marketplace, at your choice.
If you buy in the EEA or the UK as a consumer, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content, that right ends once the download starts and you have agreed to lose it, which is what the marketplace asks at checkout. If a marketplace applied that wrongly, or the content is not as described, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything here and the studio will support a claim rather than obstruct one.
Physical goods
Physical items follow the return terms on the eBay listing and eBay's own buyer protection. An item that arrives damaged, incomplete or materially different from the listing description should be reported through the listing, with photographs, and the studio will resolve it.
What to include
Order reference from the marketplace, the item name, what you expected and what arrived. Screenshots of a failure help more than a description of one.
7What a purchase licences
The licence attached to each listing governs what you may do with the item, and section 12 of the licensing page summarises the studio's standard position. In short: use the material in your own productions, including commercial work, without further fee; do not resell, redistribute or republish the files as a library or fold them into another sample product.
The plug-in archive is a curated collection of discontinued third party instruments sold as an archive. Each instrument inside remains subject to its own developer licence, which the purchase does not alter or replace.
Where a listing is silent about a use you have in mind, ask first. A written answer is free and it beats discovering the problem at delivery.
8Sync licensing
Buying a record is a personal licence to download and listen. It is not a synchronisation licence, and it does not permit use of a track in a film, series, game, advertisement, trailer or stream.
Sync licences for catalogue material are quoted per project: the track, the media, the territory, the term and the exclusivity all move the figure. Ask at zaziediya@gmail.com and the reply will be a number rather than a form. If a commission is a better fit for the picture, that will be said too.
9Problems and support
Email zaziediya@gmail.com with the order reference. The reply target is 48 hours, and delivery failures are dealt with ahead of general questions.
If a marketplace has closed a listing or an account and an order is orphaned, the studio will still honour a delivery it can honour. It cannot refund money that sits on a platform it no longer controls, and it will say so rather than leave you waiting.
